Franco Family Christmas Party

With the holidays upon us you know that you will soon be partied out. We continued a tradition this year with the Franco Family Christmas Party. We got together on Saturday afternoon and all went to lunch together. What a group!! Afterwards, we retreated to my house for the five dollar gift exchange. Everyone brings a wrapped five dollar gift. We put all the gifts in a pile and eveyone draws a number. When it is your turn you can either steal a present that someone else has opened or you can open a new one. It was great fun. Andrew had the final number and has his pick of anyone's present but he chose to open the one remaining unwrapped present. Lo and behold in his he received a set of coasters, a chocolate orange and a ceramic kitty. Way to go Andrew!!! Of course the winner of the most appropriate gift goes to Eric and his brush set. It was later stolen by Tasha. Harvey stole the fountain from Sergio and then Consuelo stole it back. Darn!! Can't wait till next year. Let's get together more often guys. Great $5 gifts by the way.

Santa

Ok, let me tell you how thrilled I am at this picture. First of all, Kaeson was in the mall for nearly an hour with white pants before the picture was taken. Look at how white they still are. Second, Kyra cut the front of her hair off a couple of weeks ago and look... you can't even tell. Third and most important... NO ONE IS CRYING. This is the first picture with Santa that I have ever gotten back where no one is crying. What a proud parent moment. Isn't it funny that as we hit this stage in life, the simple things are the things that are the most fun.

The Tree

After a long tiring day. We gathered the three kiddos up to decorate the tree. Kyra was dancing around singing her own renditions of Christmas carols. Her favorite is "Tinkerbell, Tinkerbell, Tinker all the way." Kaeson had fun until he stepped on a plastic reindeer oranament and cried the rest of the time. Kelty enjoyed the lights for about 5 minutes and joined Kaeson belting out "Cries of Joy." All in all. It was another fun and memorable family activity. We have just learned to give the kids naps before attempting a group activity.
